Alright. Last night I played about 2 - maybe a bit less - of twilight princess. And today, as I type this, am almost completely done with the first “real” dungeon/temple. Yay forest temple. :) I just got the boomerang. I have taken WAY too long in my opinion to get this far - mostly because I’ve forgotten the layout of this game after the few times I did get to play it, and I forgot where I was going in the Forest temple. Good grief.

I now FINALLY have a working… and beautiful TV. I have recently purchased a wii from a friend for a much cheaper price that I would at a game stop or something like that. And my brother is giving me one of his xbox 360s…. Yes. He owns two. A regular one and a slim one. I am getting the slim 360 - not complaining. IT WAS FREE. So I am extremely excited.

I recently ordered some things for my wii - yes. I ordered a copy of Twilight Princess. I am BEYOND pumped to play that now. No longer bumming a friend’s wii and copy of the game.

Also. With my new TV, I was able to finally play around a bit with the Steam Big Picture function. Sweet Jesus. It’s beautiful to see a game on such a BIG screen… OMGAWD.

I am such a Valve fangirl…it’s truly sad.

Although Twilight Princess managed to move into a very close place in my heart… I’m not sure what it is about this specific game in the Zelda franchise. I absolutely love it… It’s right up there as one of my favorite games now - which is odd… considering I really dislike most Zelda games.

Oh well.

Once everything is up and running for sure. I’ll post pictures and everything.

Although sadly I did need to order a new sensor bar for the wii I purchased… :/ Waiting for that along with a nunchuck and my twilight princess copy… oh. And a classic controller for the wii :)

And I’m waiting for my brother to get his slim 360 from his girlfriend’s house. Joy.

Started out watching an LP of a youtuber I am subscribed to and he got me really interested in the game. Not the series. Just this specific game. Been playing a couple days now. I just finished getting the uh… Light tears(?), in wolf form…

And I can tell just by talking to my boyfriend and my friend John about it.. I, apparently, do not belong in the fandom. I enjoy Midna. Yes. She’s partly the reason I stayed so engaged. Oddly, enough. Her sarcasm and witty remarks - she made me giggle and I can relate to her a lot - seeing as I am the same way.

I also enjoy the darker theme to this game. It doesn’t look like a children’s coloring book puked on it (cough skyward sword coughhhh). The graphics…are beautiful. I was actually quite amazed that it was originally designed for the game cube with such beautiful graphics. I mean… even the hair detail grabbed me. Hair movement along with actual movement of the character… Those little details for a … not so advanced console. Oh my god. My inner gamer nearly fangasmed.

I was a gamecube and N64 fangirl… Anything graphically pleasing on those consoles… Make me die. :P

I haven’t watched the entire LP that I mentioned earlier… I don’t know what made me watch it to begin with… I think I was doing some homework and needed something to listen to… and picked that - for no real reason. I haven’t seen the ending - I dont even think I’ve really seen THAT much of the game. I actually dont want to be spoiled.

PLEASE GOD LET IT BE A TWILIGHT SUPER GOD OR SOMETHING AT THE END

I played… yes I eventually finished Ocarina Of Time. BORED ME TO TEARS. <.<

I watched an original Zelda playthrough… I was lost in confusion.

So…. I’m pretty shocked myself I’m enjoying myself so far in Twilight Princess.

No I will not play Skyward Sword. I can’t stand the cotton candy, happy go lucky, rainbow vomit graphics. Plus. Motion controls… irk me enough in twilight princess (yes I’m playing the wii version…. the only one i could get my hands on but i love it. Not TOO many motions controls… but enough, that aren’t complicated enough to make you hate life). I am a bit sad I couldn’t enjoy this game on the gamecube… I was too addicted to Paper Mario: TTYD and Super Mario Sunshine to notice any other game… not to mention my aversion to the Zelda series in general. I had no childhood memories of it… therefore. I never wanted to play it.

Oh well. I am enjoying myself so far.

I beat the first world of Super Meat Boy.

I only rage quit maybe 5 times.

I think a lot of it was I had no idea what I was in for right off the bat. But… I did fairly well. :) only about an hour worth of time to do it. But yay.

I’m working on getting the screenshots saved to my computer. :) Will post ASAP.

I’m canceling the Zelda project for now. I may try another one… Or redo this one at a later date. I’m sorry. I cannot get into this game :/ Plus. I need to get moving on my LP channel, which I should FINALLY get around to recording Friday and possibly uploading. Mostly because I’m off work that day. My uploads will depend on my days off. I’m not totally sure how they work. Considering I’m still new. But I am supposed to get every other weekend off. We will have a set schedule soon. Thanks for bearing with me :)

Sorry guys. I started my new job and I haven’t really had much time to relax or do anything related to this blog. My commentaries are on hold until I can get together with everyone on them :) I may or may not be deciding a log on the Portal and Half life series. Not totally sure. I would like to record them - even do Co-op missions with my other half if he ever gets his shit together.

Uhm. I’m sorry you guys. My job is a lot nicer than my old one, but I am still adjusting to the new hours and stuff. :) Bare with me. haha. Just thought I’d update this and let you all know what’s going on.

I know I haven’t updated the Zelda blog - I’m sorry for that. Things have been crazy for me suddenly. Forced to move back home - only had 4 hours to do so… All hell broke loose. Things are settling down. I should get back into things shortly - especially that I start my new job on the 7th. Yay income. :D More money means great things for me.
